Hapoel Indoor Soccer
During the 2006 Indoor Soccer Season, Hapoel Soccer fielded two soccer leagues: a Soccer-cise League and a Boy’s K’tana (1st and 2nd Grade) League.
The Soccer-cise Championship Game ended in a 5-4 win by Big Blue over Big Red. The teams played to a 4-4 tie through regulation and then finished even in a penalty shoot-out. Yoav Cohn scored all four goals for Big Blue while Noam Roth had three goals and Samuel Kushnir added the final goal for Big Red. In the shoot-out, Kushnir, Roth, Ezra Troy, and Aytan Schulman each scored for Big Red. For Big Blue, Cohn, Evan Cantio, Josh Graber, and Doron Polonetsky all scored in the shoot-out. In the final extra-time period, Cohn scored the game winner for Big Blue.
The Boy’s K’tana League Championship Game was won by Big Blue with a 4-1 win over Big Red. For Big Blue, Mikhael Hammer-Bleich had two goals and an assist while Ari Sporkin had a goal and an assist. Joshua Strauss scored the final Big Blue goal which was assisted by Aaron Weiss. Big Blue’s Dov Ber Natelson and Jacob Black were also critical to the win. Cameron Harris-Gallahue scored the only Big Red goal. Danny Zweben had the assist.
